One more real life monster to hunt your dreams. Straight from Syfy movie (the pun intended) - the 4kg and 90 cm of crab. In pretty colours, aren't they. Also endangered. As always we are better monsters.
Copernicium has been finally officially approved by the International Union for Pure and Applied Chemistry. It's new symbol - Cn and it is the heaviest non-existing element. For now, at least.
The asteroid being responsible for the end of the dinosaur era is most popular theory but not the only one. Some blame the volcanoes, some think it was a lot of smaller meteorites. Here are counter arguments against those. Big asteroid seems to be winning once again.
