Cage Match
Mar. 9th, 2010 12:00 amThe truly important fight is taking place at Suvudu - the Cage Match 2010 SF/Fantasy characters. Half of the Round 1 matches are already available for voting.
Some are pretty obvious - after all too many people hate Goodkind and Twillight for those to have a chance. Others lead by being part of very popular fandom - how can Aragorn or Gandalf not win? I often agreed with the predicted result of actual fight however. I think that if Wee Free Men would not win it - they would steal it. No deadly robot has a chance against Artur Dent's luck (whatever it is that always saves him only to get him to more trouble). And Conan always could beat even the most powerful wizards. I know how Karsa does that but what secret power let Conan do it? I think pitying Lyra against Cthulu is mean because she has experience at fighting gods.
I just wish there was more SF characters. I can't believe there is noone from Dune but we got Anita Blake and Haplo (never even heard of her/him?). And of course like many posters there I wish for some Erikson characters. Come on Lady Envy went to destroy an Empire just by herself (she only brought that super badass warriors because someone had to prepare baths for her).
