Maybe it won't be that bad.
May. 1st, 2010 10:28 pmThe temperatures and humidity went up and my asthma got almost unbearable. I've been to tired and sleepy to write anything in past few days. Although most plants either finished the blooming or will do that soon there still is a lot of pollen in the air. It causes inflammation n my lungs that till now I was able to keep under control with the medicines I brought with me from home. But in past few days it kept getting worse. Even getting out of bed to take the first dose became a problem and at the same moment the breathing problem didn't let me sleep. I suspect that its the heat (it was over 30 oC in the shadow today and it's still 25 now at 10 pm) that it making it worse. I know that eating ice-cream and drinking cold drinks makes it better at least for a moment. It makes sense - after all when some other part of you gets swollen you put ice on it.
Anyway, it is kind of scary. I'm suffocating and alone. I never went through this without my family around. It's time to see a doctor so I decided to dare and try medical service here. I tried to understand how it works but all the document I tried to read were complete gibberish. As if they were written in foreign language. I mean they are but I think I understand the language pretty well otherwise. Most other Europeans say it doesn't make any more sense even after you spend more time using it. You just hope it'll work somehow. So I went and got an appointment. My first time. Let's see how it works.
Luckily today I got the package from home with all many of favourite clothes. At least my mood got better.
P.S. I niech się święci 1-wszy Maja! (pamiętam :)
