Goodbye

Elizabeth Sladen has lost her battle with cancer yesterday. As most people I knew her mostly from Doctor Who. Sarah Jane was such a big part of Whoniverse that it's hard to believe she is gone. But what really makes me sad is that Liz Sladen was only 63. This reminds me there is a practical side to what I do. There is no cure for cancer and, short of nanotechnology, it won't ever exist but we can understand all the different types of cancer and then fight them. From all the reports Liz was a wonderful person and Sarah Jane should've been on our screens for years.  She will be for a little more as half of next season of her show - The Sarah Jane Adventures - is done but I'm sure that we all feel it's not enough. But I suppose it's never enough.
