Yesterday was good, today is Syfy
Aug. 9th, 2011 11:46 pmI was so happy with Syfy last night I was almost willing to call it Sci-Fi. First on Eureka we had an all female episode and then Warehouse 13 previewed the rumored steampunk W12 adventures. And both were so much fun.
( Spoilers for Eureka - 4x15 or, as I call it, The Last Two Women Standing episode )
( I knew what the artifact was before the intro ended (spoilers for W13 - 3x5) )
And then they went and wasted all that happiness by cancelling Eureka and taking back the six episodes that were to have to finish the story. I knew it had to end someday and it's been on pretty long already but it just got a second breath and I hoped it could stay for a while. It was my go to for fun sf and frankly one of the very few sf shows on TV worth watching. It is also my favourite Syfy show. There is still one year before it ends but I hope Blood and Chrome is awesome or they greenlight the H. G. Wells series as I don't really care about the rest of current Syfy offer much. It's not as if there's a lot to watch there as it seemed to be taken over by wrestling, asinine reality shows and even stupider movies. I watch Syfy mostly on Mondays and I watch it then mostly because of Eureka. I hope it won't be replaced by more Ghosthunters.
