First one is already founded - it was showcased on Pharyngula after all - but I'm sure you wanted to know about Zombie Fish anyway. Or, more precisely, controlled by parasites in their brains thus proving Stargate wasn't as SF as it may originally seem:
The one I actually gave money to is the one - studying the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad details of Duck Sex. And they inflate with incredible speed and force. This and their corkscrew shape is a result of the arms race between male ducks trying to impregnate all possible females through all possible means - including rape to death - and females trying to avoid that and having their offspring by evolving labyrinthine and twisted ovaries that lead aggressors nowhere:
