It's heating up
Mar. 14th, 2012 11:24 pmIt's still 20C outside now at 10 pm. It was 27 today and it's going to be as or even more for the rest of the week. And it's only the π day. I try not to think what will happen later.
I'm still getting used to all the climate and time changes so all I came to do is remind you about all the voting you need to do - you have till tomorrow on all of them:
1. Fanom Steel Cage Match March Madness is already on FinalFiveFour and right now it looks like it'll be all female final. All three places on the podium is what I'm rooting for.
2. Sci-fi only version is few steps behind and both Aeryn and John are still in the game. Nice to know that there are few other people out there who still remember. And I want Samantha Carter vs. Helen Magnus.
3. I was starting to think io9 won't do anything this year but they just started. And this time it's io9's March Movie Madness: The WORST Movie. There are some films I think are pretty good or at least watchable on this list but also so many I still can't believe were really made. I'm rooting for Battlefield Earth to win this. Or Pluto Nash.
4. And last but as always the most fun - round 2 of Suvudu's Cage Match with more author write-ups. You can tell Matthew Stover had so much fun getting to play in Hitchhiker's universe. Too bad it looks like he won't write any more of these. Both Harry Connolly, Brent Weeks and Paul S. Kemp convinced me to vote for their characters and it seems I'm not the only one. And I love Weatherwax vs. Fool but one didn't have to be prescient to foresee the results of that. Granny all the way!
