The Good Wife is my favourite finale so far. But then again, TGW is my favourite show, period. I'm curious what you'll think :)
I *really* enjoyed NIKITA \o/ Wife says Nikita is like a Whedon show without all the annoying Whedon ticks, and I think there's a point there. It's not as self-satisfied and the pandering is less obvious. I am so impressed that they managed to make me ship Nikita/Michael because usually those obvious ships don't work for me, but Nikita/Michael is cute.
I hope they manage to resolve the Owen storyline too.
When it comes to Scandal I hate Olivia/Fitz, and it negatively impacts my enjoyment of the show because it tries to convince me the ship is cool, when I see Fitz as a brutal, unlikable person. He is a puppet on strings but instead of actually refusing to be one, he pretends he is not and throws hissy fits. His manner towards women is endlessly abusive. Shonda has this thing for guys who say "I AM THE MAN!!" at some point and for women who melt when that happens, but that is the ultimate turn-off for me. And here Fitz keeps saying "I AM THE PRESIDENT" as if it means something.
And puh-lease, that bit where people apologise to him for stealing the election "from him"? Taking his opportunity to win "fairly"? I think they are forgetting that without Defiance he *wouldn't* be president at all. And I know Olivia is flawed as well, but Fitz's flaws hit my buttons in a different way. So ugh :(
But the reveal was cool, I had no idea ;)))
If the show cut Quinn and Huck and then had Fitz deposed as president, I would love it so much more.
I loved the Grey's finale. The Mindy Project's was not as exciting as I hoped. And The Americans had their moments.
