Still celebrating

ellestraThe weather become very early spring lately. I have to remind myself it's still just the end of January not the beginning of March (I didn't loose a month somehow, did I?). Today it was sunny and +5. Few pat days have been with similar temperature and rain from time to time. This made some buds on bushes turn green. I'm afraid what will happen when cold returns. Statistically February is the coldest month and as my father says when the winter brake is over the winter is bound to return. On the other hand it can just get warmer and stay it way. Or keep on being around 0 with occasional rain or snow or anything in between. and why am I even writing it down?
Yesterday I went to celebrate my PhD with my family. Last weekend we hoped for sledge ride but in the meantime the snow melted so we settled on bonfire. Then we almost didn't even get that because it was raining. Luckily it stopped and the party and the bonfire was great. My brother came with his kids and my friends and my family and we had great time.

Everything was so wet that before it was dry enough to burn it made great smoke machine.
