Some at least.

Resurrection. Cylons of Earth. Human Cylons of Colonies. Final Five. Seventh.

I loved the new intro - especially the retro cylons but also the human ones.

I also loved Ellen's download sequence. And her special resurrection bath. And her attitude towards centurions. I just love Ellen.

The Final Five travelled at sublight speed – that’s why it took them so long.

Cavil knew all about Final Five – who they are, where they come from, what they did. FF didn’t know because Cavil made them forget. He chose their jobs and personalities. He made Sam a sports jock, Tory a politician and Ellen a housewife. He took their knowledge away. All of them were super smart (Baltar like?) scientist and after he was done with them none of them was even close. Tyrol is closest to what he has been but still just a manual labour in army not the leading mind in field. I think that they missed it despite not remembering. All of them, but especially Ellen and Saul. I think they felt they lost something important and alcoholism was a part of this. Especially for Ellen. Because she was a creator and brilliant and then she lost all purpose and all her children and had to fill the emptiness somehow. When she remembered she became so much more collected and sure of herself. I want to be like her. The brilliant, understanding, self-assured, able to defend her choices and compassionate but little cynical Earth self.

And I loved Sam talking about brain functions and being scientist and smart and that Galen sound more and more like an engineer making through design problems then just repair man. I loved how baffled Tory and Galen were about the revelation of their relationship. And how Tyrol again reacts with laughter to shocking news. Little things make big stories great.

Cavil is to be blamed for the attack on the colonies. The Five wanted cylons to do something else with their lives and leave humans alone. And he wanted ‘justice’. Wanted to punish humans. So he took the Five and sent them away. Erased them from the other six memories and programmed them against talking or even thinking about Final Five. And he got himself a new name. Talk about issues. He’s not a perfect machine. He’s in fact a very bad one. Too much human emotions dictating his actions. Emotions of the worst kind.

So there were 8th models of Human Cylons created for the Colonial Centurions by the Five who came from Earth. And Ones destroyed Sevens in a fit of sibling rivalry because they thought mummy loved Sevens better. So we have the answer to the why there was 1s through 6s and then 8s and no 7s. Bad John.

I loved how this episode did a turn around on Kara. This time she had to be the grown up. This time it was her who had to deal with and step up when someone she loves was destroying himself. She had to make a decision either to let him have his way and hurt himself or go against his wishes and stop his self destructive behaviour. This time she had to be the responsible one. And I love how Sam used Demetrious against her - I let you be obsessed and self-destructive, now you help me do it. And how hard it was for her to make up her mind – especially when he teased her about the answers. Because she would do anything to know. She did everything to know. And he used that against her. Because he knows her so well and knows what buttons to push. Now she's convinced she waited to long and if he doesn't get better I'm afraid what it will do to her.

The way he acted was such a Kara-like behaviour. They are so alike. It makes me wonder. There are many speculations Daniel (the Seventh) was Kara’s father. Both were artists and Kara’s father has mysteriously disappeared. And Cavil got rid of every copy of Seventh and there was no way to resurrect. So if Daniel really is Kara’s father and Anders 1.0 was a musician – was Kara’s father modelled on him? You know interests and personality traits. This would explain why Kara and Sam are so similar.

This whole episode was so incesty.
Ellen made Cavil in the image of her father. Cavil had sex with his mummy for revenge on her and daddy.
I’d like to think there’s no real blood relationship. That the 8 models were not made using the Five DNA, just given certain traits the Five envisioned for them. Especially since that would really limit their DNA pool and if they were to procreate that would just make everything worse. After all they don’t have much diversity as it is. I think that they are Ellen's children only in figuative sense. Certainly Ellen doesn’t seem bothered by having sex with Cavil. She treats Cavil like a petulant child. And she doesn’t blame herself or Saul for what happened. After all they did best they could given the information they had. Can’t be blamed for having no memory of crucial information and making wrong choices. She is so grown up. She really makes other cylon look so much more childish.

Is Sam brain dead?
Since the Hub is gone he cannot resurrect, right?
Is this the end of the road for him?
Minimal brain activity. That is dead and a what get you unhooked from life support. This is like Eluana and I’m afraid it will end the same way. Let him die – better then to be breading, force fed corpse for years. Although he is fresh from surgery and his brain can still recover. Brain has some regenerative abilities. And he’s a cylon – he has some silica pathways, yes? At least that’s what I keep repeating to myself.

Boomer have been with Cavil much longer then we thought. Ever since New Caprica at least. She knew about Ellen when she came to visit Galactica in The Eye of the Jupiter. She saw Tigh then. She knew he was Final Five. She had better control of herself then the Hera incident would have indicated. She didn’t say a thing.

Boomer, the raptor pilot. Love :D
I was so glad she saw what Cavil is really all about. Hurt feelings, revenge, spite and obsession. I was so happy that the big rescue was all her idea. No Ellen begging. Boomer made the decision. Boomer has a plan.

Galactica is being cylonised. Yes! Technology is to be used. Although it’s funny to what lengths Adama – the ‘no networked computers’ man – is willing to go for his beloved ship.

John Hodgman being all fascinated neuroscientist and really bad doctor. So giddy and fascinated by the case and not able to deal with patient and family. Aphasia and world salad, liking blood vessels and clear image. Too bad there was life involved. Man, good you were needed to make the operation.

Oh, and Lee is the president in all but name. Although I liked his idea to move on and leave the Colonies behind. Maybe it’s the shift to space based civilisation - living on ships moving through space. I’ve read that book once :P

I love info dumps. Sometimes :P
