There is a gallery of spaceships on io9 The Evolution Of Space Cruiser Design: A Gallery. The various spaceships from TV shows and movies from 50s to now. There's Lexx, Moya and Galactica and even that Futurama vessel, not to mention all the classics. Most beautiful thing in the world.

Comic book writer Robin Furth and The Talisman artist Tony Shasteen are doing the comic book adaptation to The Talisman by Stephen King and Peter Straub. The Talisman #0 will out on October 21, 2009, but those attending the San Diego Comic Con can get FREE black and white copies of Issue #0. This is one of my favourite books. I think it is my favourite Stephen King's novel (and Peter's Straub's too because, frankly, I haven't read anything else by him).

And the new fashion of making webisodes to all the fan favourite tv shows. This time it's agent Dale Cooper coming back to Twin Peaks. Without David Lynch.

*checks the io9 article* Awww. Liberator is even on there! Sadly, they missed out some of the other ships from Blake's 7. And apparently, the mining ship, Red Dwarf, escaped their cut (though they've got Starbug)--and Blue Midget and the shiny shiny hologram ship would have been good, too.

And four shots of Galactica, but none of the various ships of the fleet or base stars? Tsk.

(I'm such a picky fangirl)

There's not many ships from British shows. And the popular ones are over represented. I wish that instead of multiple shots of some there was more. Still so very pretty. Things like that justify the existence of io9.
