Syfy shows
Aug. 7th, 2010 10:29 pmThe last episode of Eureka was fun. ( Eureka Sqee ) Stop torturing Jo. Or I'll stop liking you. And of all Syfy shows on now I like you most.
I'm kind of watching Warehouse 13 but I'm not really into it. I don't know if it's because I didn't watch from the beginning or because I find Pete annoying and Myka boring but it just doesn't work for me. I think I watch mostly for secondary characters: Claudia, Mrs. Frederic, occasional regent.( Small W13 spoiler )
I finally liked an episode of Haven. I kept watching it because it's after Eureka and I like Audrey Parker but it's not enough. Audrey is sarcastic and smart and exactly the kind of character I'm drawn to but she is the only one. There isn't many regular characters beside her and not only all of them are male but they are also bland. Till now I found them so boring I couldn't even remember their names. I knew there was the sheriff, his son who couldn't feel pain, the jerk and two funny newspaper editors but I only have been able to tell them apart because the actors look really different. I think it's because they are trying to make everyone in Haven part of the mystery that surrounds the town and they gets so mysterious that they lack personalities at all. This is especially true for the guy that follows Audrey and sometimes delivers exposition due to being local.
( Small Haven arc spoiler )
But somehow it started to grow in me. first in last episode the cause was mundane and in this we had moments and bonding between non-Audrey characters and I was actually intrigued by the plot. And I finally remembered that the sheriff's son's name is Nathan. I might be even waiting for the next episode.
Irrelevant trivia: These 3 shows heave leads who stared together in a tv movie. Joanne Kelly, Colin Ferguson and Lucas Bryant. They were sort off love triangle. The Canadian actor pool :P
