Jewel Staite did AMA on redid this week and shared her head canon for Kylee's future:
"Kaylee's kicked Mal down a couple pegs and become Captain, obviously. Simon looks after the babies."
It's probably better then Wheadon's (where one of them is almost certainly dead).

Both Lev Grossman and John Scalzi are going to visit place where I live next week. They are both promoting their new books. I still feels so weird that I live somewhere where that happens regularly.

By clicking on this link you decide to see 11th Doctor, Stan Lee and TARDIS in one photo. I'm not responsible for the result of seeing this.

Speaking of th Doctor, Doctor Who will be back tomorrow and it's coming with a new title sequence based on the design made by a fan. I suppose this is fitting. The show is run by a fan, the Doctor is played by a fan and now the design is by a fan. I just watched Moffat admit this on TV during the tour special. It's like the whole show is like tumblr for middle aged men ;P. It sure must feel good.

There is a 10 anniversary reunion panel for Firefly happening on Comic-Con this weekend and it will become a TV special to be aired on November 11th.

A new webseries H+ from Brian Singer is coming in August to youtube. It's about a future with people who got a DNI chip called H+ implanted die when a virus strikes reducing world population by a third and creating total chaos. It's also telling the story of before and after. Is it weird that it seems to be more appealing then most of what is (and what's to be) on TV? It also has a better cast.

Falling Skies have been renewed for the 3 season. It's not perfect but that all the aliens I get on TV so I cannot be picky. And some of the storylines I do care about.

I didn't plan it but it suddenly seems like they everywhere. So here some more awesome Muppet mush-ups this time as art (click on pictures for more)

Muppets and Firefly. You just know Statler and Waldorf would be bad guys but Dr. Honeydew?

Game of Thrones Muppets. Some of those choices are truly inspired - look at that little dragon.

And if you have enough of Muppets (but is that even possible) he's something for Doctor Who fans - the protective shell for a garden telescope in shape of TARDIS.

Pop Candy has an interview with Jane Espenson former Buffy:tVS writer, and current co-executive producer on Battlestar Galactica about her new book Serenity Found: More Unauthorized Essays on Joss Whedon's Firefly Universe. There's also an excerpt - an essay by Nathan Fillon titled I, Malcolm. It's so much fun.
BTW since we have sci-fi channel in Poland now and it shows Firefly I managed to get my family to watch it. They liked it. Great some more disappointed people. :P
